You are not getting viruses; you are getting adware and or spyware. The reason you keep getting them is because you keep repeating the same web practices. Installing programs like Limewire, BearShare and other P2P software to download music, movies and programs are a huge source of adware and spyware. Adult sites are another surefire way of getting infected with this stuff.

If you are using a cable modem or a dsl modem and you have not powered it off and back on it will be looking for the mac address of the previous computer. You should power everything down and bring thing up in the proper order. Power up the modem first, then your computer with a minute between the two. If this does not resolve you issue, you first call should be to your internet service provider. Your service may be interrupted for some reason.

You printer is probably connected to your computer by a usb cable and you had it plugged in when you tried to install the software for it. This will not work. In all instances, you must first install the software before connecting a usb device.
